Autumn?

"No two gardens are the same. No two days are the same in one garden" Hugh Johnson

I took a piccie of the autumn leaves on the ground yesterday and somehow deleted it from the camera! The idea was that I showed you how mad my garden was at the moment, crunchy brown leaves on the ground and roses still blooming.

I am so looking forward to the weekend, it is very much a "me" weekend -a Crop on Saturday and the NEC Hobby Craft Show on Sunday. Having said that, to make this work I have to:
1. Plan meals ie make sure there is enough food in the larder (which I am never that organised to do normally, local shops are handy when you run out of milk and chocolate)

2. Let hubbi know what and where food is and how to make/cook it, and repeat myself at least 3 times before it finally sinks in.

3. Lay out daughters clothes so that she does not end up in a psychedelic mess

4. Wash and iron school clothes

5. Leave reminder notes ie feed the cat!

and the list could go on but you get the idea oh and .......not too mention getting myself organised, clothes, handbag, sandwiches, spending money etc.

Is it worth it? oh yes definitely, and I so love coming back to big cuddles and kisses from my daughter saying how much she has missed me...............after she has asked the most important question of all .........."what did you get me?"
