I could not let this day go by without a mention....
Probably a little known fact about me, I am an Elvis Presley fan and he would have been 74 today.....

I was 7yrs old when I heard my first Elvis song, sadly it was just a few months after he died. My friend and I used to sing to his songs using hair brushes as mircophones (remember doing that?) and making up dance routines. I had posters on my bedroom wall, watched all the films that used to be shown in the summer hols.I still have lots of his albums -vinyl of course (remember THAT too lol?) all stashed away now. Though I have hinted heavily to hubbi that I would like a record player for my b'day so that I can re-live my youth,gosh I must be getting old if I feel the need to do that!

His songs were the soundtrack to my life when I was young. Elvis and his songs will always play a part in my life. Awwww now thats got me all sentimental and going down memory lane, I NEED to get those albums out of storage..............
Another little know fact~"Love me Tender" is my all time fav Elvis song :)
