Films we are looking forward to in 2009

G-Force-“G” stands for “Guinea” — as in guinea pig. G-Force is a highly trained group of covert ops guinea pigs, and in case you hadn’t guessed, this is the latest movie in the “live action meets CG talking animal” craze, following up on the popularity of such hits as Underdog and Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
With a voice cast of Nicolas Cage, Penélope Cruz, Steve Buscemi, and Tracy Morgan, and a live action cast that includes Bill Nighy, Will Arnett and Zach Galifianakis.

Marley and Me-
Heather is reading this book at the moment(kiddies version)and is soooo excited to hear its coming out as a movie. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson.

BOLT-For super-dog Bolt (voice of John Travolta), every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue—at least until the cameras stop rolling. When the star of a hit TV show is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he begins his biggest adventure yet—a cross-country journey through the real world. Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real, and with the help of two unlikely traveling companions: a jaded, abandoned housecat named Mittens (voice of Susie Essman) and a TV-obsessed hamster in a plastic ball named Rhino, Bolt discovers he doesn’t need superpowers to be a hero. Miley Cyrus (”Hannah Montana”) brings her vocal talents to the role of Penny, Bolt’s human co-star on the television series.

The Secret of Moonacre-The story follows the exploits of thirteen-year-old orphan Maria Merryweather, whose sole inheritance from her father is a book. This is no ordinary tome, however – in Maria's hands, its ancient story comes alive. The book chronicles an age-old rivalry between the Merryweather and De Noir families over a set of magical pearls, and as Maria delves into the mysterious tale, she finds herself fantastically entangled in the bitter feud.
Left penniless by her father's death, Maria has no choice but to leave the city and live with her taciturn uncle, Sir Benjamin Merryweather, at his isolated country estate in Moonacre Valley. On her way to her new home with her caretaker Miss Heliotrope, Maria's carriage is attacked by Robin, the De Noir family's teenaged son. Although she is unharmed, the incident gives Maria a frightening taste of the animosity between the two clans.
When Maria arrives at the Merryweather property, her uncle spies the unusual book in her possession, and immediately confiscates it. With the help of the estate's resourceful chef, however, Maria relocates the book and continues reading, finally discovering the weight of her responsibility: she has been anointed the last Moon Princess of the valley. It is up to her to find the magic pearls before the next full moon and end the conflict between the two families. If she fails in her quest, the dark curse following the Merryweather family will destroy Moonacre Valley for good. But is this a challenge Maria is ready to accept?

Cheekily I have borrowed reviews from various websites:)
